C5/C9 Modified Hydrocarbon Resin from the Velrez portfolio are engineered tackifier resins produced through catalytic polymerization of mixed aliphatic (C5) and aromatic (C9) feedstocks. These hybrid resins combine the best of both families: the excellent tack and compatibility of C5 aliphatic resins, together with the improved adhesion strength and cohesive performance of C9 aromatic resins.
The result is a versatile, well-balanced resin widely used in hot melt adhesives (HMA), pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA), packaging adhesives and industrial formulations.
